What is Fly Buys Communities?
Fly Buys Communities is a new interactive space where you can find articles, blogs and reviews written by people who are experts in their field. We are starting out with a Driving community, but stay tuned for some new and exciting communities soon, including Parenting and Home & Garden. Let us know what types of topics you’re interested in on the “What’s Next?” forum.
Join the community now to take part in the forums, add your two cents worth to our expert’s opinions, or even ask the experts your own questions – you never know, the answers you seek may star in our next feature!

Do I need to be a Fly Buys Member to sign up for Communities?
Yes, you will need your Fly Buys card number handy when signing up. Not a Fly Buys Member? Joining is easy and only takes a few minutes. Simply fill out the join form on the Fly Buys website, wait for the e-mail which contains your card number, and you will then be able to sign up for Fly Buys Communities and have your say.
-
How can I make it easier to find my favourite communities?
The Fly Buys Communities homepage is completely customisable – nearly everything can be arranged just how you like it. Any section with a four way arrow in the top right hand corner can be moved around - just click on the heading bar, drag it somewhere else on the page, wait for the grey box to show up behind it, and drop it.
-
How can I keep up to date with the latest from the experts?
If you want to know when new content has been published by one of our experts, you can subscribe to an RSS feed. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a way of having new content delivered straight to your e-mail client, web browser or any other RSS reader. Every community has it’s own feed, so you can pick and choose the areas you are interested in.
Just click on the RSS icon
which you will see popping up in many places on this site. You can also learn more about RSS here.
-
How do I get a picture (avatar) to appear next to my posts?
Just sign up to Gravatar. It's absolutely free and will associate your avatar with your e-mail address so your avatar will be displayed on any site you sign up with where Gravatars are enabled.
Your avatar will be displayed next to your forum posts, and when you comment on one of our blogs, articles or reviews.

That’s Allan, he’s an independent kind of sheep (or just plain lost – it depends who you ask!).
